Happy New Year to everyone!

Since everyone seems to be recapping the last year, I'll do the same. 2006 was a great year for me. I gradutated from school, went to Hawaii, got engaged and got a job that I love. I also managed to achieve one of my resolutions, which I've never done before. I managed to lose a considerable amount of weight, which will help me continue that for 2007. 

This year the only real resolutions I have are losing enough weight to fit into my wedding dress properly (oh yeah, I bought my wedding dress on my birthday :) ),  and to make it to the wedding without being loaded with enough stress for a complete break down. Logan and I definately want to eat out less, work out more, get some "couple" friends in the area that we can hang out with and play Settlers of Catan with (which Logan got me the expansion pack for my birthday!). We'd also like to go to Vegas but I don't think we'll get to go this year with the wedding. Oh well :) that's still a lot of things to accomplish. I'd also like to start taking insurance courses, take a wine tasting course, dancing lessons, maybe some art classes. who knows. Hopefully  when we move, we'll stay in the same area because there is a community centre really close by that has most of that stuff. We'll see. 

Anyways, I should go and make breakfast and all that. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Merry Christmas to everyone!

I'm finally done all of my shopping and wrapping. I'm so glad that part of Christmas is over!

I had to work yesterday so I was pretty shot yesterday. I pretty much came home, ate dinner, drank and watched Polar Express with Kelly. Logan is on the island but he'll be coming home today, which is nice. I miss him. I would have gone with him, if I didn't have to work. It's ok though because since I worked yesterday I get my birthday off :) Yay for my Lieu day falling on my birthday! My mom, sister and aunt are taking me shopping that day apparently. YAY! 

So I really need to contact someone to take away all the trees on my yard. For those of you that haven't gone past my house in the last week, I had 7 trees fall on my house during the last wind storm and the insurance company only paid for taking the trees off the house. They cut them up and left them laying all over our front yard. We also have 10 holes in our roof and apparenltly now that our other trees are exposed, they're likely to fall over in the next one. Just great. Apprarently it's all BC Hydro's fault too. We had an arborist tell us that they fell down because the way that BC Hyrdo cut them made them very unstable. My dad called to tell them that and the guy laughed at him, so my dad got mad and now apparently they're coming to cut down the rest of the trees. We don't really care because my parents just signed the contract to sell the house and it's going to get bulldozed anyways if the city allows the developers to do what they want. We really hope that they will so we can all leave. I'm leaving anyways but eveyone else wants to get out of this house too. It's too much work. There's a lot of things that need to be fixed and it's better just be torn down.

Anyways, I need to go do a present run into Vancouer for tonight.
